Skin firming and quality treatments

The quality of the skin is affected by a wide variety of parameters. It is important to know where the source of the problem is, in which layer of the skin it is located. Only then, we can determine what the most suitable treatment is to improve the quality of the skin. It is important to remember that each patient has different characteristics and it is important to choose the most suitable treatment that will give the best result that will last for a long time.

Superficial skin texture treatments

Performed when the main problem is in the superficial layer of the skin - the epidermis. For example: acne scars, pigmentation disorders, sun damage, age spots, and more.

Skin Booster - the purpose of the treatment is to refresh and rejuvenate the skin by supplying nutrients and moisture to the skin - to improve its quality, appearance, and nutrition daily. The result is a significant improvement in the appearance of wrinkles and the shrinking of pores while maintaining the natural appearance. Skin Booster is based on hyaluronic acid but at a level that does not change the shape of the face. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our body and one of its functions is to absorb water molecules. The absorption of water gives the skin properties of elasticity, firmness, and a radiant appearance. As we grow older, the function and quantity of the hyaluronic acid produced in the body is affected and as a result, the quality of the skin is affected.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

Skin booster treatment is suitable for anyone who wants to improve the quality and texture of the skin, and enjoy a natural, glowing, and fresh appearance. The treatment is also suitable for damaged skin as a result of post-acne burns and sun damage.

The treatment does not change the features of the face but makes them look their best as if we are after a good night's sleep of 8 hours and received a beauty treatment that makes it look more uniform and firmer, elastic, glowing, and pleasant to the touch.

The effect of the skin booster builds gradually from treatment to treatment, so a series of two to three consecutive treatments spaced up to 4 weeks apart is recommended, but it is important to remember that this depends on the patient and the condition of the skin.

Microneedling - a unique treatment technique, based on the stimulation of the skin using tiny, sterile needles (hence the name Microneedling). Skin irritation causes the creation of collagen and the release of active substances, which help in the regeneration of the skin and the improvement of its texture. The treatment is almost non-invasive, at the beginning of the treatment a numbing cream is applied to minimize any discomfort. The device is then gently slid over the skin, creating tiny punctures. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural healing process and stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. After the treatment, the skin will be red and may feel a little sensitive, depending on the skin characteristics of each patient. These symptoms are mild and usually pass in a short time. It is recommended to have between 3 and 8 treatments with a difference of about a month between the treatments: depending on the needs of each patient, the treatment area, and the problem they wish to correct.

Who is microneedling suitable for?

Microneedling is not intended for the following patients: pregnant women, patients suffering from chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, or dermatitis, and patients who have recently undergone radiotherapy treatment.

The results are not immediate. Usually, a slight change can be noticed a few days after the first treatment, but the final result will be more obvious with time and after several treatments, because the formation of collagen and elastin takes between 4-12 weeks.

Treatments in the deep layers to tighten the skin

Treatments that are intended for the deeper layers of the skin - the dermis layer. We will perform them in more advanced cases of decreased skin elasticity, thinning, and laxity. The main component of the skin is collagen, about 70% of it and the cells that produce it are fibroblasts. The collagen gives the skin support and is essential for maintaining the skin's moisture, elasticity, and shape. Starting around the age of 30, we lose about 1-2% each year of the amount of collagen, certain nutritional and lifestyle factors can accelerate this process. The loss of collagen causes a loss of volume, elasticity, and changes in the appearance of the facial skin.

Treatment with biostimulators (Aesthefill) - biostimulators are substances that encourage the fibroblasts to produce new and healthy collagen and elastin fibers. This method helps improve the appearance of the facial skin by treating the loss of skin volume without adding volume to the face. This method is more natural and therefore more preferred in recent years.

Injection of biostimulatory substances is deep - into the dermis layer, the treatment does not change the shape of the face at all, it only causes the face to be firmed and helps to improve the appearance of the skin.

These are conservative and long-term treatments, usually 2-3 treatments are required 6-8 weeks apart to initiate a restorative and restorative process. The advantage of the aforementioned treatments is that the structure of the face does not change and the result is maintained for a long time.
